VT Bass v.1 ampless

So I own a vt bass v.1. I want to use just my wireless, vt bass and a tuner straight to the mixer. I'm already ampless at gigs. From what read here from Tech21, the vt bass sends out a low impedance signal. I own a RS jack that converts 1/4" to XLR (balanced)
It seems I really don't need a DI as the signal going to the mixer is a balanced low impedance signal.

Thoughts?

You will be fine. The two most basic functions of a DI is to convert a high impedance signal to low and to convert an unbalanced cable to balanced. The VT Bass' output is low Z and you have the 1/4" to XLR part covered.
