whammy IV users - power question...

i picked up a used whammy 4 yesterday at guitar center which didn't come with an adapter. the side says "9V AV 1300 mA" so i ordered a digitech adapter that does 9v/1300mA but then when i checked out the whammy IV page it says it runs off of 18V power.

does anyone know if this is a change in spec/update to the pedal? i.e. - is mine just an older version (the digitech sticker says whammy 4) or is the 18V supply excess?

i guess i'll find out when the adapter arrives, but it would be better to send it back unopened if i have to send it back.

Mine runs of 12Volt AC and 1300mA, it's a IV

make sure it's AC and not DC if you don't want to fry it btw.

I have a Digitech Genesis 1 and a Digitech GNX-1 and they both run off 9V AC.

I have Habro wall warts.

yeah the wall wart is what i got, but like i said when i checked the whammy iv page it says it runs on an 18V adapter so i was confused. thanks for the help.
