Whammy Sound Clips Request

Sign in to disble this ad
Before anyone asks, I did a search...

I'm looking for sound clips of the WH-4 Whammy being used on bass. More specifically, the -1oct setting.

If anyone has a WH-4 and the facilities to record a couple of clips, I would like to hear a riff being played on the bass, then the same riff being played an octave higher on the bass, but dropped down using the Whammy so that it is at the same pitch as the original riff.

If anyone can sort this out for me, I will be very grateful.

Cheers

PS. Any other clips that you fancy doing would be cool as well, because I can't find any Bass+Whammy clips out there at the moment.

Thanks a lot

Oh, well what I was looking for is this:

1) Riff played fairly low on the bass (for example, starting at the 3rd fret on the A string)
2) Same riff played one octave higher (starting at the 15th fret of the A string - staying on the same string is important to the tone)
3) Use the octave down setting on the whammy to drop riff (2) down one octave so that it is the same pitch as riff (1)

Does that make more sense?

Ah, that is perfect! If I can ever do you a similar favour, you just have to ask.

Thank you.
