*speculation*

what do you think the effects Les runs on his whamolas are?

to me it almost sounds like an autowah and some light distortion.

thoughts, opinions?

agreed- probably od/envelope filter- though i couldnt tell you what a clean whamola sounds like- so my reverse engineering is- also- speculation. that metal pot solo was pretty much awesome.

I use a combination of octave down, overdrive and a flanger with mine. An envelope filter would be badass.

I'd be interested to see if anyone could get a pic of Les's pedalboard (for whamola especially). I'm in the proccess of planning a build of one as a semi-joke instrument for my semi-joke side project. (2 Bass, 1 guitar, drums and me on vox. Can you say the perfect deathcore set up?)

They're fun to screw around with. Hit me up with any questions if you build one. I have better pictures of mine while I was building it.

thats a fine lookin' whamola you got thur optimus. I can't help but think it could be slightly improved on though. I'd replace your bring with another roller to help it stay in tune more and have it at somewhat the same level as the nut roller so you may actually be able to fret some notes. Other than that though its highly fappable.

I'm gonna start building my own whamola soon so I might hit you up with some questions
