I have a 4 space rack with 3 RU's worth of stuff in it (a 2RU amp and a 1RU Furman). The unused rack space taunts me with it's emptiness. Yes, I know I could just put an empty rack panel in there, but that's hardly the TalkBass way.
I have pedalboard with a Zoom B9.1ut, a looper and a wah/volume, but I don't use lots of in-your-face effects. We're a trio and do Jam-band type stuff with light forays into Jazz-ish things.
So what to add?

Put your head on the bottom and your furman all the way on top

Even if you don't need a preamp, it might be a good idea to get a Sansamp or something, in case your amp ever gives out at a show, you can go straight to the PA and just keep playing.

Which one is better for Metal, Red or Black?

Which one is better for Metal, Red or Black? | Black is better for metal, but red lets you play faster. |

It's just extra weight that you're obviously doing fine without. If it bothers you that much to have an empty space showing, get a blank rack panel. |

But then, I've already got a Korg tuner in the rack.
How's that Zoom B9 treating you?
