What I should buy? bass pod xt live or pod x3 live?

What are the good and the bad stuffs beetween those pedalboards?

I need tradicional effects (synths, reverbs, delays, wah) and amp simulations

What do you guys think? bass pod xt live or pod x3 live?

Well, if you do a direct A/B spec comparison, you get more bass-centric features with the bass version.

Anyway, if you are looking for a used version, on eBay or craiglist, and you find a good deal, go with either one. --Kent

x3, simply because it contains all the guitar patches too. If you want to sell it later, you have a lot more options. As a studio tool, it is dual use making it more versatile and powerful.
In fact I'm pretty pissed off that I bought an XT Live and they came out with this later. It is as simple as a firmware upgrade to give the XT Live the same functionality, but once again Line 6 throws the finger in the bass player's face.

The X3 has more processing power and by all accounts the amp models are greatly improved.

DEF get the X3- I've got one now having previously owned an XT and this is loads loads better - the fx loop is the main reason I upgraded and coupled with the gearbox release L6 have finally got round to putting out, it is a brilliant tool for the live and recording bassist

Buy it!

I vote X3. I like the dual tone capabilities. But if you find a good price on a used XTL, they're not bad either.

This is true. Since the X3 is 2 xts with all the extra packs, I was able to sell it to a guitar friend (along with a stand for it and the full FBV controller) for a pretty good chunk of change.

My feelings about the PODs in one sentance. Which is why I say niether. Go out and find a propper standalone amp.
