there are 2 major manufacturers (RMGi and ATR) currently producing high quality analog tape at the moment, and there is rumor that quantegy may re-open it's tape division....
so yeah, tape is definitely still made, and all you gotta do for a space echo is splice a loop of 1/4" and drop it in. easy as pie.
