| | | | What can I REMOVE from my pedalboard?

Ok, so I'm tired of lugging around my Pedaltrain 1 (with briefcase) around and I'm considering getting the Pedaltrain JR with the softcase. I may get the hardcase later if there will be touring involved, but for now I'm taking the buss/subway to practice.
My Voodoolab Pedal Power 2+ is currently mounted on top of the board since this is the "pre-mount-your-powersupply-underneath"-version, still with the jr I'll have to remove one pedal. So what would YOU do?

And actually I'd probably shift either the muff or the mammoth too.
Live, I find dirt is dirt, nobody's going to notice if the bassist switches between fuzzes. |

Do you have your own sound guy? I think you could skip comporessor from pedal board and use the one from FOH.
And it it were my pedal board I would throw the Bass Synth Wah as far as I could...but it's not

Essentials goes everywhere, you take the one with extras along only if you really need it. You probably need to rewire a few spots if using both together, but I think it would work.

| | | | I'd lose the multidrive (redundant with the sansamp) and the comp (I don't use comp), myself.
Out of curiosity, what's the little thingamajig taped onto the BBM?

If so, you could put the comp in there if you always leave it on. |

Kept kicking the switch from dry to normal, which killed the low-end completely.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: North Dakota | | | I'd keep the Tuner and all the EBS pedals. I don't have a use for the distortions and synth and if you eliminate all that, you probably don't need the Line Switcher.
Of course, this comes from a guy who uses no pedals. |

Second, how do you propose he fuzz up his signal with his hands? Where should he pluck the strings to add envelope filter sounds? Please, elucidate everyone with these marvelous techniques, that we plebeians who so foolishly talk about effects in the effects forum might correct our wayward approaches and become real bassists.

That said, I think we're all a bit sick of people telling us not to use effects in a forum designated for discussing effects. Even if the comments have validity, this isn't the place for them.
