I really like the tone duff mckagan delivers tru his bass in the song rocket queen, so what type of effect combination is he using and what chorus pedal would you reccomend? |

| | | | dont know your example, however the analogman chorus is the highest quality chorus ive ever heard. if you order one you need to ask for the deep mod/deep toggle switch, this will make it bass-friendly.
as usual, i'd reccomend staying away from all of the boss chorus pedals.

I have also owned a Digitech Multi Voice Chorus. Personally, I found the Digitech to be pretty cold/sterile sounding.

| | Modulus, Ampeg, and Boss oh my! | | Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Birmingham, AL | | | I have used Boss chorus pedals and never much cared for them...solid pedals as all Boss stuff typically is, I just didn't care for the chorus in particular.
I have a Guyatone chorus that I would put up against a Boss any day.
I also have the Univibe Stereo Chorus/Vibrato pedal and although I haven't used it much yet, I can tell it will be getting tons of use pretty soon. |

I'm also looking for this kind of effect also...but I looked up that pedal you guys mentioned earlier, analogman chorus...it's like $225 or so!
What other recommendations do you guys have?

You need a bright, 80's sounding chorus to get it right, IMO.

I recently read an ad for someone's vib or chorus, inwhich it was said that while it's not an overly subtle pedal, "it won't make you seasick". I thought to myself "That's what I love about the UniVib; it makes you seasick!".
The chorus mode - just objectively speaking - definately sounds more like a PHASER to me, rather than a chorus - but beautiful it is!
