so while the VT Bass is designed to be a "greatest hits" of ampeg tone, the Microtubes Vintage is more of a "greatest hits" of rock bass tone, right?

Keen to hear a demo - pull your finger out, Doug! Wasn't a fan of the B3K but this sounds more like my thing. Not gonna pre-order without hearing it first though!

Generally I've preferred to plug straight in but have been wanting to work in some good OD. This looks interesting!
