Darkglass just posted this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyJUBKEohas

Edit: Sounds great IMO, although i'm still waiting for a "proper" demo, particularly to demonstrate the ERA knob's tone shaping.

Okay, that's the kind of overdrive/distortion I've been waiting for.

Hey guys! Glad to hear you liked the video! This is just a teaser made by popular demand... It was done using a Mayones Jazz Bass (passive mode) direct to the interface! We just used an Ampeg plugin (set flat all the time).
Extensive demos are on the way but it may take a while .

Still undecided after hearing that. Would like to hear some more demos, but thinking I'll order one and give it a go anyway.

Doug, any idea when you think you'll start shipping them?

Crap. Looks like I'll have another Darkglass pedal on my board.

**Edit** Order in with BassEFX. Where is the facepalm smiley?

Fairly soon! 3 to 5 weeks if everything goes according to schedule.

Why use an amp simulator? I thought cab emulation was part of the design.

This is somehow really incomprehensible. Demoing a pedal and then use a software amp simulation?

its the same as if they played the pedal through an ampeg amp set flat so that you have an idea what it sounds like in the real world as opposed to just played DI, which noone ever hears that way because it is always thru a Pa and therefore sounds more amp like.

I just watched the video. The low gain settings are great. Is this still CMOS?

Edit: Nevermind. I just read the details on your website. I'm so used to makers not having details available pre release.

Wow... the Tom Sawyer section sounds just like the isolated bass track, but a bit fuller:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlGibhuobrM

I'd be interested to see a demo with the settings visible, preferable with a RATM riff somewhere.
