hey guys, im not really that much into effects as im playing in a pop-rock-punk band but I love some of the set ups that you guys have. Now my question is this; I want to get a pedal board that will hold the following:

-audio technika wireless system
-boss tu-2
-dunlop bass wah
-sansamp di
-dc brick or gator power board

Now, what are your suggestions? I have bought a gator gig-box jnr but it did not even come close to fitting just 3 of the pedals. But I also dont want anything to big or expensive. Im looking forward o your responses.

make one man. Just go to lowes or home depot and get some wood. With wood, screws and velcro your lookin at like 25 bucks tops. And thats with industrial strength. Plus its so much cheaper and smart!

Industiral strength velcro is about 20 bucks itself (or at least the kind I was able to find...)

but yeah, definately make one yourself - maybe even print out sizes for the pedals and make the board to fit those, with a few extra inches on the sides to add/rearange pedals as you wish.

Have you had a look at the other Gator products, they have a dedicated Pedal Board on offer. This pedal board is called the Pedal Tote, they come powered or unpowered, there is also a pro version that is 30 inch x 16 inch.

Or you could just get the new T-Rex Engineering Pedal board, which are a bit cheaper than Pedal Train products, but having the T-Rex name should be good.

rondo music has some pretty cheap ones on evil bay. I stuffed eggcrate foam in the top enclosure, and it holds in the pedals without using velcro.

The advantage here is that your settings are not likely to get messed up during transport... thats why I got away from my home made wooden board

Usually people just get DJ Road Cases, as you can get CD cases and Turntable cases which are heavy duty and have detachable tops. I found this (in Australia) which i might use to build a pedal board

+1 on the Gator Pedal Tote. I have the smaller powered one and it kicks butt. The Dunlop bass wah was weird to mount to it but I got it. I have the white version of the bass wah and it does push up on the lid a little. To close the lid all you have to do is push down on it a little bit. Plus the price is awesome. $100...Powered pedal board...Come on. Good luck man.

$100 is the US price for the small powered Gator Pedal Tote. In Australia, we get ripped off left, right and centre, the powered version of the Gator Pedal Tote is about $250 at Billy Hydes.
