What do you want to see from the Eventide Pitchfactor?

Since this is a huge effect and has a lot of sounds. What would you fellow efx nerds want to hear from it? How well the tracking is in whammy? Can it do 5th/1up like the Bass whammy? oh, a bass whammy challenge?

I should have it by Wednesday hopefully...

When I read this, I didn't realize you were talking about what you were going to do clips of. All I thought when I first read the title was 'free-ness.'

Of what- some chords? Any 6th or minor 7 chords would be fine- a lot of monophonic octavers can track a root and octave double-stop and sometimes even track a root/fifth double-stop. Tossing other notes in there will test how well it tracks polyphonically.

I wanna hear the delay sounds with no pitch shifting.

I wanna hear if the arpeggiato sounds can outdo the S&H on the Prometheus

Thanks, man- you may cease my attempt to purchase a HOG if it tracks well enough.

I'm mainly interested in how well it tracks (how low) as a traditional octave down pedal. Also interested in the other stuff, but to make it practical for me it would have to replace my POG.

This is more of a general question but can it layer quite a few octaves and intervals like the POG & HOG?

Will definitely be in the shoot out with the Bass Whammy.

I'd like to hear clips of interesting and innovative pitch-based effects that can be used in a band other than The Justin Chancellor Fan-boy Band.

+1. Sadly, this won't be a reality for about 2 years.

I want your opinions on expression pedals. I just got the EB VP Jr 250k Ohm, but Eventide recommends the 25k Ohm. I don't get full sweep range with mine, but is the 25k any better?

Oh, and having just gotten an expression pedal, I gotta say it opens the Pitchfactor up to whole new levels of usefulness.

The Pitchfactor accepts a mono signal for its expression input? That's cool- there's a lot more options to choose from if you can use an expression pedal OR a volume pedal.

I'd like to hear samples in the low register, and possibly with a EQ heavy on the bass.

The only band I've got where I'd be able to use the Pitchfactor would be my ambient dub project and I'm just afraid it would be too muddy.

I've been thinking of getting one for my guitar board, and if I could actually get use out of it on bass I think that would seal the deal.
