I don't know what pedal could get you close to that because none of mine could.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Sep 2011 Location: Large West Coast City | | | given the era I'm going to guess it's a Mu-tron and that it's some combo of the Envelope follower and the phasor or maybe the Bi-Phase.
Electro Harmonix makes a close copy of the envelope follower called a Q-tron. That's and the above mentioned Small Stone should get you close. So will any bass multi-effects board by Zoom, Boss, Line 6 etc. even the older ones will have these effects so don't be afraid to look for used to save your dosh.
