I had an EHX Bassballs modded to have direct access to the trimpots. Liked it before the mods, love it after. The pedal's not on the board at this time because next gig doesn't require it (I use a small board, 7-8 pedals at the most), but iwill be back on it soon. One of my favorite pedals.

I had the "JimmyM" mod done by Putnam to my Tech 21 British pedal. Much better from a low end standpoint but I don't really use it that much. May have to break it out again though now that I'm thinking about it...

I have a Guttermouth-Modded Russian Big Muff: it has a bias knob for voltage, a gate for quick bursts and an oscillation switch that just makes it MAD!

Have a few other crazy pedals but this is the only one that is actually modded so to speak.

Most of my pedals are visually modded by my family and those WILL NEVER LEAVE!

I never was satisfied with my ODB-3 until I moded it. Removed the LEDs and put in some diodes, and changed a few capacitors. Now it is more like an overdrive instead of a thin distortion.

In fact, Boss to me always sounded so generic but I have come to realise that they are structurally well made, but the components are usually not always well chosen. Therefore, modifying the older analogue versions is, for me, the way forward. Nice learning experience as well.

Modded my boss compressor for more bass and less noise from bongo's site. Love it. Also modded my Ds-1 to make it usable for bass. Sounds like a fuzz now. Love it too even though I don't have use for it.

I have a modded 3 knob BassBalls that is the bomb, my all time fave defect made even better. Also have a Boss DS1 with the Keeley/Allums and true bypass mods and an SD1 with the true bypass mod both are worth having but not so much for bass.

I put a washer on my wah cos the screw kept coming loose. Apart from that, I changed the batteries.
