What Effect Would I Need To Get this Sound?

Hey guys. I never been to big on effects but i wanted to go
for something new so here is a link to a Vines song. Can anyone give any input?

And BTW this is a Vines song which has some vulgarity in it..Just a warning.. ( Thanks Joe )

Heavy overdrive, milder fuzz, lottsa ways to cop something like that.

The basic way to get "fuzz" is to turn is first turn your master volume all the way down (so you don't blow your head off). Turn the gain all the way up (to 11 as they say). Now play some notes and at the same time slowly turn your master volume back up. You should have classic fuzz, but your mileage may vary depending on your gear. Then tweak and experiment get your desired result.
