the New Deal is a house-breakbeat,electronica-jam trio from toronto. and in the very first minutes the bassist is using something with his foot to give a huge wah sort of sound while using some sort of heavy gated fuzz, then he starts using a bitcrusher or something.
any ideas?
also, its a good listen!

Sounds like the standard setup for that kind of tone: Octaver into fuzz into Moog Low Pass with an expression control of cutoff.

Not bad, though the keys were occasionally annoying.

I do hear a Moogerfooger Lowpass Filter though. Other than that, I don't know, but I do know I want that Moog Prodigy synth. Man that thing is sick.

the prodigy synths are sick......but the new moog fattys can do what most older moog synths can do.
