What effects does Sting use...

At the Buenos Aires concert in '07 (I think) and the other concerts on the Police Reunion tour? In 'Driven To Tears' and 'Synchronicity II' you can see him step on what looks like a HUGE multi-effects unit. I'm not sure if one of you could make out what he uses or if you know what he used.

Is that it? It looks bigger than that. And anything that can get roughly the same sounds without the price?

I'm not sure I could find the exact clip you're referring to - post it if you can. But in the clip I found from Tokyo of Synchronicity, yeah...

Could you post the clip of Synchronicity in Tokyo? I'll tell you if they're the same.

I know he used a Boss chorus and flanger (couldn't tell you the models though).

In earlier recordings he used the Phase 90. I'm not sure about the 07 tour tho

Sting uses the power and tone of karma and love.

Live I thought he used massive rack mounted units.

Looks like a Moog Taurus to me. They are rather big. Bigger than most multi-fx units out there.

Definitely a Moog Taurus. He has something on the floor on the other side that looks as though it may be a multieffects unit, but I can't tell for sure what it is...

Yeah, I was asking about the big thing on the other side of the Moog.
