What effects does this tone seem to use?

I haven't messed with any effects yet myself and am looking to buy some pedals to help change my tone. I think that Myung's tone in this involves some slight overdrive and slight reverb/delay, or something of that sort. Does this seem correct?

No effects, just pure Mesa Bass 400+.

Sounds like it is a digital rack processor with a little gain into a Mesa head and cab.

Nothing special going on there really. Could have a slight chorus on it, but nothing much. The grind is probably his extra low action. I have played his bass before and the action was so low, a fly could fret a note by landing on the strings.

No, it was his Yamaha bass. I met him at a meet and great right before he switched to those stupid looking bongos.

The Yamaha was amazing. I wish I could get action that low and still be able to play.
