What effects are used for this song?

I'm currently looking for a bass pedal, but I'm not sure what I want, since I don't know much about bass effects.

One thing I do know, is that I want that growling sound.

I DEFINITELY don't claim to be some kind of effects guru.All I own is a T.C. Electronics chorus pedal.But,that sounds like a bassline from a keyboard.As far as an effect to replicate it,I wouldn't have the foggiest idea.

That's definitely a keyboard playing that bassline- you won't be able to get that exact sound, but you can definitely approximate those types of tones a few ways. The easiest would be a Boss OC-2 octave pedal and an envelope filter.

I dig nu-jazz as well, though I haven't explored it as much as I'd like yet, but check out BluSirkut, good stuff
