I owned an M-108 and it has a very unusual power supply; you can only use the wall wart it comes with.

Go to a music store and try each of them out. Go with the one you think works best.

First of all, why do you believe you need an EQ pedal? Are you unhappy with your current amp?

Second, to answer both of your questions:

1) The "best" EQ is a touchy subject. They're all great on bass, but each of them affect different parts of the frequency spectrum in different ways. TBH, it's pretty much a trial-and-error kind of thing... you need to explore a few different ones to find which one sculpts your tone the way you want it to.

The GEB-7 is a good place to start - its frequency selections are popular among bassists. The Knockout, meanwhile, is a bit of an unusual EQ pedal, since it controls only your highs and lows, and does so differently than your average EQ pedal.

2) The M-108 and KFK-1 are practically the same pedal. The only difference is that the KFK-1 can output to two amps, while the M-108 outputs to just one. If you've just started playing, then you probably only have one amp.

Agreed. I'd say that you should probably upgrade or change out the amp before you get an EQ pedal to try and patch up the tone that you can't get out of the amp. However, if you're looking for an EQ to have a second tone, you might check out the Build Your Own Clone site. They have a small form-factor 10-band EQ that is said to work awesome on bass. If you (or your friends) aren't handy with a soldering iron, you can order a pre-made one from Axe and You Shall Receive.

Thank you dude, actually I am going to get a D.I. as my first bass pedal, I am thinking HARTKE BASS ATTACK and SansAMP BDDI. Because I have some recording stuff to do and also some live show these days, I could not make my own sound only using my AMERCIAN STANDARD P BASS, I do have a HARTKE A25 amp for practice at home and a WARWICK SWEET 15.3 in our band room. I just need a pedal to do record and live show...

So, what do you say between HARTKE BASS ATTACK and SANSAMP BDDI?
