What graphic EQ pedal should I get?

I'm looking for recommendations for a graphic EQ pedal. I have an Aguilar AG500 with a 3-band para EQ, which works well, but I want a little more tweakability in a stompbox. I was considering just going with the Boss GEB-7, but if I can get something better without breaking the bank, I'd like to know about it.

The mxr website says that their 10 band eq works very well for bass

The MXR 10 band EQ would cover anything and everything you would ever need, though it does take an 18v power supply. The Whirlwind 10 is nicer but you pay for it.

If you want something more compact and can operate on a single battery, it's tough to beat the GEB-7 for price/features/quality. I have the MXR 6-band. I like the sound and form factors better, but it doesn't have a level control like the Boss, which I miss.

I used the mxr 10 band for about 6 years. It is a very powerful eq that remains transparent. It has a gain slider on it with plenty of gain to slam the front end of your amp as well.

I much prefer the Boss GEB-7 to the MXR 10 band. it's smaller, 9V and more powerful imo.
I found on the MXR I had to make larger fader adjustments to get the same results as minor fader moves on the Boss.
nothing wrong with it, just not as good as the Boss imo.

The Danelectro Fish and Chips eq has always served me well.
It's dirt cheap, $30 and works fine.
