And here's a picture of the wiring to switch a volume pedal between volume and expression. Ground wires omitted to make it slightly more legible. Resistor values vary depending on the LEDs used. LED direction should be with the + end to ground.

On topic, parts to build this are on my incoming list.

OUT:
Boss RE-20 - Timeline pushed it out of the board.
theSyle Umiom - PisdiYAUwot pushed it out.
Moogerffoger Bass MuRF - it's actually awesome modulation, might be the sweetest modulation on bass I've dealt with. Too bad the are so few modulated filters. But Moogerfoogers are just too big.
Dedalo Gorila - I just don't use compression.
Catalinbread Heliotrope - I'll miss it.
on the way out:
Line6 FM4 - I thought it's more fun.

IN:
Dwarfcraft Baby Thundaa - awesome fuzz although I'm not sure I'll keep it.
Malekko Bit - it has the mix knob I missed in Helio. And it's tiny
Fairfield Circuitry Unpleasant Surprise - my first Fairfield!
Earthbound Audio Supercollider - completely justifies its name.
Earthquaker Devises Speaker Cranker - I'm wondering what will happen when I push B3K with this thing.

And I'm terribly GASing for the new Randy's Revenge. And Polytope. And some more fuzz
Good gracious, sir! You are CRAY CRAY

Oh it is! Its a great comp but I want to try one that "adds some color to the tone". lol, I don't know how to put it into words! but the M*& is a great transparent comp!

Oh, okay. I can dig it. Same with my dbx mc6. Works nice and clean but no extra tone.

In: Source Audio BEF Pro, modded SFT clone, Paramix, maybe a BYOC Leeds Fuzz if I can get it done this week.

Out: OCD v4, Boss RC-2 (maybe)

Time to clean and rewire the pedalboard, I'll be in the studio all weekend

GONE: EHX Small Stone NANO: Whetstone kicked its butt really fast!
COMING: Guyatone FL-3: miss having a flanger so here we are! plus its a pink pedal on the board which always is good....

random realization: in my chain it goes " Way Huge Swollen Pickle > Russian Big Muff "Blueberry Muff-In"> Red Ripper > Fender Sub-Lime "The Love Box".....hmmmm?

Just not using a comp. This is the second one I've used and that Milkbox had a thicker sound which I miss. I don't hear much result from the M87 (though I guess you don't notice it when it's doing it's job) and I cbf with the cables and power.
I'll get it out again at some point though - I go through phases. Lately been going all out with the TAFM (sweet btw!), PPB and new Iron Ether.

Not everyone needs a comp. Is okay. Given the cost, if you flip it, you might be able to score yourself a good trade.

I just picked up a Boss LS2. Gonna split the board up into a fuzz loop and a mod loop. Very excited for the project, but I need some more cables for sure now!

When you've counted up how many cables you think you need, add another 50%.
