The Mobius should blow an M5 out of the water because there is LFO controls, wave form controls, etc. It is not a stompbox modeler.
I am interested in the Mobius even though it is one effect at a time because with the amount of control it is like having 2-3 effects on at a time (Filters on the effects, the effect itself at the minimum).
Oh Yeah, Iron Pig should be here in2 hours or less! |

The B7K is amazing. Wish I had the funds (and space) for it. | I haven't had the opportunity to A/B mine with the Proton v2, I just want that decay knob so I can control how fast the filter closes. It's going to be tough getting rid of that pretty Fromel enclosure though..... Lol I wonder if I could send mine to Spencer and if it would work to have him put V2 guts inside the Fromel. Might have to ask him!
I've been in preamp mode for a while now, which is why I'm thinking about the B7K. I love my B3K and from what I've seen/heard, the B7K combines the two worlds so I really want to try one. It's probably the only reason I'd entertain thoughts of selling my B3K. Like you said though........ Kinda spendy.......

No pedal flipping right now. I am VERY content with my set up. In fact, I would be insane to not be content with my pedalboard right now...
@5sg: I thought the same about the b7k, but it has proven itself to be waaay useful for the money. The utility features alone put it close to on par with the price point IMO(quality buffer, quality DI, 4 band eq, parallel clean out, etc...). Add to that the amazing overdrive, the attack and grunt switches, and a clean blend and the price makes perfect sense to me.

And that is when I remembered that my Behringer Bass V-Amp Pro works just fine doing clean guitar. And with that, the fate of the Mooer pedals was sealed.
Going/Gone: - Mooer Pure Boost
- Mooer Pitch Box
- MXR Micro Flanger
- FDeck HPF-Pre Series 2
Also, I am experimenting with doing a lot more effects in Reaper instead of pedals for my ambient-folk delvings. It is all post-processing, so no pedals needed. The BVamp Pro offers the basic effects, anywho. Otherwise, I am not using any modulation with I play my folk. |

Considering picking up an envelope filter to see if I can cop good auto wah sounds of it, may like it better than a manual wah for convenience. |

Tried the B3K and as awesome as it was, I couldn't justify keeping it with my current rig. Probably will end up picking up another down the road, but needed the funds more so I returned it.
...and somehow I missed these cheapy Musicman basses coming out, I've wanted a MusicMan for so long. Can't wait to play it. |

| | OK. Now I'm biased. Endorsed Artist: Myco Pedals | | Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: Lake Charles, La | | | Yeah. This will be my third try.....but I've had a different amp, every time. First was my Eden second with my Mesa 400+. This time with my Glockenklang Blue Soul. All totally different amps. Dirt pedals sound so different on other rigs. So I'll try it, again. US made, this time. The other times I found it too thin....not the OD...the overall sound....was just thin and light. The Glock has way more ballsy bass than the other amps so maybe they'll cancel out. All three amps had more balls than anything DeltaPheonix plays on, though. His amps are pink and flowery. His sound is covered in frilly frill lace and the drinks he has on stage comes with matching umbrellas. |

Going: not sure yet
Coming: customized Demon King (eventually).
I'm trying to gather up a bunch of stuff and do a shoot out to determine what I like best and then revamp my board with the winners. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
