OMG Wud, those links led me to the Swarmatron, why did I have to see that! Good thing it's built from solid unobtanium and priced accordingly but damn.

Mind: blown. Jean's new album on bandcamp (flawless excellence! - but I bought physical CDs because I am old fashioned and wanted the cover art), then the Swarmatron and the rest of the stuff at Dewanatron... when TB is good it is so very, very good!

Well, keep the laptop. It's useful for things like, I don't know, typing, emails, and maybe Quicken.

But, out of curiosity, what did it?

My weird non cookie cutter tastes and button mashing ways.

Guitar Rig 5 was awesome in that the interface was setup like a virtual rack. So it looked like what us pedal junkies are used to. So easy to use. But it didn't have much. Just the run of the mill generic stuff. Perfect for most musicians but I like the freaky things.

Ableton had all the sounds. It's really limitless. I even had Max so I could create my own sounds........but it's set up in a way that you need to be a software engineer to use it. I dunno. I just don't have the skills to work it or the time to figure it out.

If there was a program with the depth of Ableton but the interface of GR5, I'd be down with it. Until then, I'm the dinosaur.

And I have a decent laptop and my wife has a nice one already. Gotsta sell this guy to get some pedal board start up money kickin'.

Your Noise Reducer won't work on that effect, but congrats on the DIY.

Why?

Was looking for a small tremolo (my board is full enough) and I've been eyeing on this. Any reason to share?
