I found a recording I did with an ehx bass big muff, with no eqing, layering, or blending, and it sounds great. The bass big muff will not handle the input of the bass I currently use, and out of all the muffs Ive tried the pickle pie b is the only one that will. Im sure a musket would too due to the input gain knob, as well as a tafm (non muff but still able to achieve muff tones). When playing alone Ive always found the muffs kind of dull to me, and I have been really happy lately with the MXR BFD, but muffs really sit great in a mix. |

I sold it to someone in France, then I think it went to Denmark, and I am getting it from a dude in Canada! Lucky #7 with the Han Solo Penis drawing on the inside of the backplate.

In: Free Download of the Compilation Album my band is on http://fromthedepthsent.blogspot.com...inment_26.html
I used the 3rd download link and it was easy peasy. My band is Capture the Rapture, we are the 9th track-Bitch Slap (the band is me and 3 ladies).
I think I only used an Iron Ether QF2 and DHA VT2-Twin-EQ-STD through an EDEN ED300T, the bass was a Warwick Corvette STD (German) with a ACG/East EQ02 preamp and EMG JX pickups. There was also a DI before the amp and effects. I think I had a pretty big tone. The vocals on this track are not my favorite, whatever.... |
