Coming: MXR m82 bass envelope filter...lol
Im thinking ill probably like this one, ive loved the demos of it compared to other filters, though I did like the proton as well. the mxr being band pass is similar to a wah. We'll find out! But not until the 25th of january when I return to my house from a 23 day trip. Itll be a nice present for returning home.

Well, it's definitely a great way to start into envelope filters. I hope you'll like it!

I used a me50b for a while. It is a good box, but im pretty sure Christian is the only man who can make it sound thaat good!

I have listened to live at the tonic and seen him live many times as a sideman and leader. I was also fortunate enough to catch a philly experiment show many years ago. Still the best concert ive ever experienced.

I. Hate. You. lol

Man, I wish I could've seen that group live.

I think I need to get out of Denver to a better music scene. lol

Yeah, man it was sick. Pat Martino played guitar for a set, and Christian was in top form. That show had a big part in shaping who I wanted to be as a musician.

On topic, I received my Aguilar DB659 a couple of weeks ago and it is great. For my cover band gigs, I'm running my B7K always on with a good bit of grit and a 60% clean blend into the aggie and it is tone heaven.

I havent felt the need to flip any pedals lately, I'm actually really happy with my options as far as processing goes. I really have my eye on a Mike Lull PJ524, so I have to curb my spending.

We'll see if I like it. It being band pass makes me think I will like it like I do wahs. If not we move on to the next one, trying out a lpf. Gone through plenty of fuzzes, even more OD's...may as well start with filters.

I've been swamped with holiday stuff and getting really sick, so much that when my Cosmichorus and then Mobius arrived I hardly had any energy to play with them. I'm finally getting around to that... both are very nice.

IN: Dr. Sci Cosmichorus v3, strymon Mobius

GONE: ss/bs Mountain Range, my DMC-3 controller to be upgraded to a -3XL with a jack for external tap tempo so I can sync everything up

ON THE BLOCK: FS: Fairfield Circuitry Randy's Revenge (v2)

and still Luck Duck Pedals 8-bit Duck, WMD Fatman, etched CopilotFX Cubic

Wow, pretty bold step there, Rip! I've been doing a few more ampless gigs lately and having fun messing with iOS stuff, but there's no way I could feel comfortable getting rid of my rigs altogether... Props to you though for taking that step!

IN: Make Sounds Loudly Parallel Looper from the classifieds, Audio Technica ATH-M50s headphones.

Coming: Lava Cables pedalboard kit ordered

Really should be getting: Pedalboard.

Still thinking I should build a board myself and find a way to to use velcro. Maybe some flexible polycarbonate sheets cut to size and draped over each pedal like a very wide clear zip tie?

Why use poly over the pedals if you have velcro?

Have you ever built your own board before? I built several board variations for different iterations of my effects setup and it's 100% awesome. You get a board that's EXACTLY what you want.

DOOOOOOooooo IIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiitttttt!
