Im thinking ill probably like this one, ive loved the demos of it compared to other filters, though I did like the proton as well. the mxr being band pass is similar to a wah. We'll find out! But not until the 25th of january when I return to my house from a 23 day trip. Itll be a nice present for returning home. |

Well, it's definitely a great way to start into envelope filters. I hope you'll like it!

I have listened to live at the tonic and seen him live many times as a sideman and leader. I was also fortunate enough to catch a philly experiment show many years ago. Still the best concert ive ever experienced. |

Man, I wish I could've seen that group live.
I think I need to get out of Denver to a better music scene. lol

5sg. | Yeah, man it was sick. Pat Martino played guitar for a set, and Christian was in top form. That show had a big part in shaping who I wanted to be as a musician.
On topic, I received my Aguilar DB659 a couple of weeks ago and it is great. For my cover band gigs, I'm running my B7K always on with a good bit of grit and a 60% clean blend into the aggie and it is tone heaven.
I havent felt the need to flip any pedals lately, I'm actually really happy with my options as far as processing goes. I really have my eye on a Mike Lull PJ524, so I have to curb my spending. |

Going: my full rig. | Wow, pretty bold step there, Rip! I've been doing a few more ampless gigs lately and having fun messing with iOS stuff, but there's no way I could feel comfortable getting rid of my rigs altogether... Props to you though for taking that step!

Coming: Lava Cables pedalboard kit ordered
Really should be getting: Pedalboard.
Still thinking I should build a board myself and find a way to to use velcro. Maybe some flexible polycarbonate sheets cut to size and draped over each pedal like a very wide clear zip tie?

Have you ever built your own board before? I built several board variations for different iterations of my effects setup and it's 100% awesome. You get a board that's EXACTLY what you want.
DOOOOOOooooo IIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiitttttt!
