Wait, they're on iPad 4 already? Where the h3ll have *I* been? Sheesh. lol

Quite interested to hear what apps you download and how you like them. The iOS thread continues to buzz! I've eyeballed Animoog and iKaossilator, and have iEletribe (but haven't played with it much yet). I downloaded DM1 early last week and splurged last night on Propellerhead's Figure. Not a hugely robust app, but for $.99 it's already been a lot of fun.

Coming: Korg KDW-301

It's a module for the PME-40X that was modded to be a standalone effect. I think it will either be a unique "secret weapon" type effect or a total flop, but I was so intrigued I had to try it.

Also coming: Ashdown BEF and Mars Mini Yesman EF (Mini Q-Tron clone).

Going: 3Leaf Audio GR2.

Have you ever built your own board before? I built several board variations for different iterations of my effects setup and it's 100% awesome. You get a board that's EXACTLY what you want.

DOOOOOOooooo IIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiitttttt!

No never built one before, which is why I am leaning that way

My Wounded Paw Blender v2.1 arrives tomorrow. I just happen to be off all week on vacation.

The VFE Bumblebee doesn't sound right by itself. Parallel in a loop should work much better.

If it's like the Schism, I suspect it will be, it should be awesome.

Not everything is better in parallel ..... but some things are amazingly better & the phase switching on the loops can have a huge impact on certain pedals.

Your going to have some fun

I plan on using this iPad for beats and some keyboard parts to supplement my bass running through a bunch of pedals (synthy style). I'll be using it live.
I got AudioBus so I can use several apps at once and make loops or record (really cool app). I got iElectribe and iMS20 both are cool and audiobus enabled, I used to have a real Electribe so it won't take me long to catch back on. I got LoopyHD for my looper. I DM1 (awesome), I got FunkBox (also can use it in audiobus). Glitch Breaks is amazing, you can glitch out and effect drum breaks (audiobus as well). I got SAMPLR, which is so wild what all you can do with samples (thanks Behndy). I got MT DAW because it is supposed to be pretty easy to use and it works with Audiobus too.
I was going to get Animoog bcause it is supposed to be half off but it isn't half off in the app store...so I am going to try and see what is up.
I have enough stuff to learn as it is right now anyways.

So far it looks like this will do the trick. I need to get audio and midi interface so I can use my synth as a controller and/or get a midi sequencer to play my synth while I play bass and so I can plug into my PA.
The guys on iOS thread here are definitely into using their devices for different stuff than I am.

Okay, now that just eerie...I was going to put "Innntterrrreessssstttttinnnggg" in my post! In case the pic is too small to read, the sliders from left to right are Sens, Env Int, Cutoff, Res, Dist, and Level. The top slider/switch is LP, BP, HP, and BP+, which I assume is a mix of Band Pass and dry signal.

Maybe I missed it earlier, but where does the iPad physically fit in the path?

It doesn't fit in any path but it's own. It's to accompany me on the bass so I can be a more complete solo project.
