Coming, as early as Tuesday, and probably on Friday: Mesa/Boogie Mark III head. I will use it on bass. It will work with my two 8-ohm speakers from the Crate G-120C that died within two hours of ownership.

My first rack amp (had a Fender Bassman combo a long time ago). Gonna miss it for nostalgic reasons, but it doesn't stand up to the might of the M9, so I'll miss is it less and less every day.

Guitar Center used gear search showed a price of $54.99. I called and said I wanted it. The poor manager had to accept that price, despite thinking it was supposed to be $69.99. One part of GC's web site showed that Tacoma, WA had, another did not. I have the print screen proof.
+1 to GC for honoring the advertised price per their own corporate site. |
