Guyatone MD3 arrived. It sounds exactly like I expected. It has three time settings for short, medium and long. Great slap-back on short, convincing reverb at medium.

it's pretty awesome. and i can't STAND EHX. they just... they SUCK at pedals.

it does the same thing as any other input into it. grabs a minuscule chunk and loops it. so you get drones or wavey held chord/notes. fun to layer lower stuff under lines or higher and accent that.

's GOOD. and the efx loop is mad useful.

DAMNIT EHX. YOU LET ME DOWN EVEN IN BEING CONSISTANTLY BAD.

this is why i'll never date your sister EHX.

Probably none, orchestrated a bunch of trades just to mess around with stuff. Chances are most of it will be going after I'm done messing around.

That thing is crazy!!! Looks like hours and hours of fun. Double time and subdivisions would be really useful.

Yes. I tried with my various passive pedals and it works like a charm. But, when I saw the bill for my new vintage base ball equipment, it meant having to re-think priorities. I don't NEED the X-Blender, but I need a proper vintage base ball shirt and bad. I love to play base ball.

Ultimately, on bass, I only need a preamp pedal, EQing and a DI. Everything else is purely luxury fun. For my tele, I have my 4 main pedals. Thus, when an expense comes along for the family or my other hobbies that take precedence, away must go those luxury pedals. I already have a buyer for the Colorsound Overdriver.

Pedals are a sickness for me, not a requirement.
