Also: I dig this jack setup on the back so I don't have to deal with the power jack on the side. I wonder when Taylor switched to that. |

Wish my Xerograph DLX and FrantaBit had that! Hope he is doing this on all his boxes in this size w/expression going forward. |

I have a combination of George L's and pancakes on the board, but I'm being limited more and more in regards to which pedals I can use the pancakes with. The jacks are also to close on my SA pedals. Probably will have to make a few more George L's before everything is finalized. |

Which sucks, but it's the pedals that will get the axe before the cables.
I will never go back to George Ls ever ever ever ever again. I had so many of them fail over the course of a couple years, I just can't trust them. Kneeling over my pedalboard furiously trying to figure out which George L patch just **** the bed in the middle of a gig made me feel so stupid.
I've never had a single one of the pancake jacks fail on me yet. |

I've never had a single one of the pancake jacks fail on me yet. | Well, if the George L's start to fail on me, I go to something of similar size but solderable instead of solderless. I've actually had two pancake cables fail on me recently. It really pissed me off a couple of weeks ago when I moved to the PT2 and no signal passed. Of course the last cable I tested was the bad one. |

Muffs still arent my thing. It'll be going.
Well I just tried it out again through my v4b, had been going into my computer last night. Sounds great, way better than it did through my gk head. Still cant get on board with it though. Not really sure what exactly it is, maybe Im doing it wrong. I think Im putting it up against my fuzz of choice and that just crushes it to me, but they are different. I feel like Im looking for a use for the PPB when I don't have one, though it sounds great.

Ultimately, just not my sound. With my bass, it was just instant distortion, no growl.

Way Huge Swollen Pickle
Along with a few other odds and ends I need to get rid of since I'm not using them. |

That's right... I'm finally switching from multi-effects to a pedalboard. My trusty ME-50B has gotten me through 8 or 9 years of gigs and recording, but it's now time to focus on upgrading my effect sounds. After much research, I believe the four above pedals should serve me well for the effects I use on a daily basis (slight boost + moderate grit, and chorus/reverb).
Of course, I doubt it will be long before I'm in the market for a compressor, and a heavier dirt, and...

Possibly coming: PT-Jr HC w/ Voodoo Labs PP2+
Local CL dude is selling the package, but he says that he only has like two chords for the power supply. He is asking $250 for the whole thing. I think that this is way too high considering I'd have to order new cables at $3.50 a piece (plus shipping )
What do you guys think?
