who is building a multi bypass/blender loop device?

Sign in to disble this ad
I am looking for a multiple (3 to 4) blender strip.

I am aware of the usual passive bypass loops (loopmaster, gigrig carl martin, etc).

But is there any established builder who is building multiple blendable loops in one device?

How established do you want?
I can build them, Jimmy Rocket, rcubed, and the likes. It's a fairly simple project to build.

If you can solder, you can do it yourself.

Look into Road Rage Loopers too.

I have a barge concepts custom one that has two blendable loops with variable Z and a toggle between different blends for each loop. You might want to check out Barge's website.

"established" as in "know what he is doing"

I will have a look at Road Rage, thanks

I a m using 2 VBjrs right now, but I was hoping for something with 3-4 loops in a smaller package than two VFB2s.

Road Rage and Loop-Master are two places that are the most legit.

I like the Road Rage loopers b/c the wait time (if you want it pre-built) is less time than Loop-Master, but I can attest to the Loop-Master work. It's of the highest quality.

You could also check out Wounded Paw:

http://www.woundedpaw.com/catalog/pr...f3380040f407ee

His site shows a super blender with 3 or 4 loops "coming soon." I emailed him back in December about it and it wasn't ready yet, but it might be worth checking out now.

Loopmaster & Road Rage don't do strip-format w/ active blends, do they?

There aren't any on their websites so far

loopmaster even says: The ultimate in 100% passive musical instrument/effect signal routers and switchers

I wish Barge would have sorted itself out by now, but the website is still hopelessly 'coming soon'.

Similar to what tonesczar has tone, I'm surprised no one is modifying the excellent EB pedals to be active blenders. Or is someone out there doing this?

Also, I wouldn't be surprised fs the smart fellows behind Lehle release something like this eventually.

Badger effects makes dual parallel loopers, you might ask if he will make a quad. I've got a dual and it works great. Robert was cool to deal with also. The schism is the dual parallel.

I didn't think so. I'd LOVE to see a strip-format multi-loop with active blending. Of course I've been spoiled by my Xotic X-Blender, so less feature-rich blenders probably won't do it for me.

Wounded Paw makes a pedal blender, and they've also done EB Volume pedal conversions to expression pedal ala Toneczar, so it's possible they could build a blender in the EB chassis. If Lehle ever built something like a 3-4 loop active blender, it would probably cost $600

I just got the newsletter from B. Lehle about NAMM. He has updated the Sunday driver, but only has a single blend pedal in his line up.

But I think asking Burkhard Lehle is definetly an option.

I hope I am not breaking any forum rule.

I can build a multiple blend/bypass device for you. You can find some photos of my custom builds and my email address in the web site in my signature.

More custom devices here.

Your stuff looks great!

The spelling error on the top of the D2 was surprising, however. Proofread, man! Proofread!

Not that surprising considering that English is not my first language

I don't know how many people looked at the photo of the mD2 before. You are the first one that noticed it...
