"Made in the USA" no longer means "high quality", but more often means "overpriced" in these days of a global marketplace.
Stuff made overseas (and here I'll take this to mean 'asia') *can* be as good quality as that not made 'overseas', depend on how selective you are with picking the manufacturer. If poor-quality goods are sold, that is more the fault of 'head-office' selecting a particular manufacturer than anything else.

The ekko has some other features like like dual outs and exp. input, but this pedal has the addition of modulation.
