Went to practice today and the whole band told me to turn down!
I went to practice today equipped with my new sansamp VT bass.
I left all the settings I had on my amp before but put my VT bass in front tonite and holy crap is there a large differnence in perceived volume. Thank you mid/character knob on the VT Bass.
Made my MarkBass LittleMark III w/ Avatar B212 blast out a loud ass drummer and a really loud half stack and the PA for the singer.
Just wanted to share!! |

I absolutely cannot wait to use this bad boy in the studio. |

I did a test last time: First I cranked the SVT almost all the way up with VT off, then I got back to a "regular" volume, and switched the vt on and cranked it to get the same volume as in step 1.... Sounded very, very similar.....

The VTBass is in my head for more than a year but here in Brazil they sell for $480!!! Even if I get one from eBay the taxes are so high I'll end up paying as much as that...

No, but seriously, I'm gonna ask a friend that's going on vacation to america to get one (or a couple) and bring it with him. Customs will charge you if you bring more than $500 worth of new, sealed products, so a VTBass out of the box, thrown inside the luggage would pass unsighted!
