One with the suppled mounted brackets, easy fit. Another older one with 'custom' mounted pedaltrain brackets and slight modification to the frame to make it all fit; I also trimmed down the heads of the power adapters where they meet the PP2+ a couple mm so they would insert easily.

*edit* I'm a dummy, I read DC Brick and thought Pedalpower... When I had a DC Brick in my setup, it was zip-tied to/under the pedaltrain.

Attached underneath the frame with industrial strength velcro. It's held without budging for a year's worth of gigs--and counting.

NAPA sells a double sided sticky tape that is 1/16" thick and 3/4" wide that might work really well in this application. It holds exceptionally well and can be removed by using fine wire or fish line to cut it; WD40 to remove residue.

The DC can handle 18v pedals. Can the 1 spot do the same ? If it does, it is an interesting alternative.

Well that is pretty much the only advantage.

I'm looking at getting a power supply for my pedals. Why do you say this? Is there a better alternative to the dc brick?

All you really need is one pedal with the through power feature like a Boss TU-2 or Peterson Strobostomp. Then just daisy chain the whole mess off that, no brick required.

yes, but you need to buy the 18v power pump attachment (from Godlyke - made for the Power-all) which also uses a lot of the available current, but it is possible

Not something I would ever recommend unless you only use two to three pedals.

I've got T-Rex Fuel Tank velcroed under my PedalTrain. I need it for its 12VAC output. It's built like a tank, has eight 9VDC outlets plus one 12VDC and one 12VAC. Also, there's no wall-wart ... it has a standard cord and plug. Expensive, though.

ya, but no 18 v. The dc brick has three 18 volt outputs.

Check this out: JuiceBox: http://www.pedalgear.net/page2/page2.html

I run one pedal with 18v power supply (AnalogMan Chorus), one pedal with 15v power supply (Radial Tonebone Bassbone), and remaining pedals with 9v power supply. Currently I am using a PedalSnake (http://www.pedalsnake.com/) between my PedalTrain Jr. and backline. Besides instrument and (edit) xlr cables, my PedalSnake also includes cables to transmit power supply to PedalTrain using a 1Spot for 9v, an 18v wallwart power supply, and a 15v wallwart power supply, all plugged into a power strip/surge protector. Sounds kind of complicated, but it's not. I am considering the JuiceBox since it would allow me to use one source for three different power voltages without having to use three wallwarts.

My DC Brick is mounted underneath a Pedaltrain JR along with the wall wart and a switched AC adapter. All done with heavy-duty velcro. You can do this, but space is TIGHT. Pics are posted elsewhere somewhere around here, but here are some pics to give you the idea...:

Hope these are useful.

Cheers!
