Why wont my FCV100 modulate my BSY600 bass synth pedal?

Sign in to disble this ad
Ive just bought an FCV100 to use with my BSY600 and although it works fine on its own (as a volume pedal) it wont do ANYYTHING at all to the synth pedal.
Im new to expression pedals so maybe I have it set up from.

I have a jack going from my bass to the input on BSY600 then a jack from its output to my own. I then have a patch lead going from the EXP output on the BSY600 to OUTPUT2 on the FCV100. Is this correct? Do I just have a dud FCV or am I doing something wrong?

First thing is you need a TRS cable (3-connector, "stereo"), not a regular patch cable.

That's amazing. I spent hours last night trying different patch leads and regular (mono) guitar leads, but never thought about trying a stereo cable.

Thank you so much.

Now I just need to connect my koas pad to it all ( I know how to do that ) and ill be dubstep wobbling my bass all over town.
