I heard a live version of this tune on Sirius (channel 17, JanOn) and loved the tone on the bass intro. What type of effect is being used?
In general, I occassionally hear tunes where the bass has a raspy sound. Like someone is playing on bone dry rusted strings. Not quite as in-your-face as the widespread panic tune but a similar type of sound. It’s not what I would personally describe as distortion.
Any input on how to get this type of sound is appreciated!
