Will this enable me to turn DOWN the signal of my bass?

It says about turning up, but will it turn DOWN? I'm thinking of buying one to turn the signal from my Euro LX down.

funny how they got the description totally wrong... it is a passive pad, there is no way it can turn anything up.... you have it totally right, it would be perfect for turning down the volume of your bass.

They don't really have the description wrong, they just phrase it in a misleading way. You CAN make it double your volume, but only AFTER you cut it in half.
