Question Will it hurt to put 1 amp into a boss pedal?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi,

I am looking to get a power adapter for my boss pedals as they eat batteries.
I have found a 9V adapter but the output is 1 amp, and on the boss adapters it is around 200milliamps.

I plan to split the output into 2 pedals (so half an amp to each).

Is it likely to damage my pedal if I put 1 amp or 0.5 amps into a boss pedal?

Thanks.

No. The OneSpot is 1700mA. The pedal will only draw the current it needs.
