I can distinctly hear sort of an "ahhhhhh" kind of heavenly sound in the backround after effects, and I was wondering what this might be mad with, whether it be pedal or something else, but I have wanted an effect like this forever, so please....someone help me lol

Thank you in advance

Sounds like it is some sort of derivative of digital delay, much like an Eventide or a unit of its ilk might produce. Definitely not a sound you'd be able to get from any old delay unit out there. You may be able to pull it off via reverb with a LONG decay.

Agreed. In specific, it sounds to me like he has the delay set to only react to the higher frequencies, and only to play the repeats (set 100% wet).

And a lot of reverb on the delays, to give it that distant feel. Not much reverb on the dry signal tho

Go Delay-->Harmonizer--->Reverb--->Chorus. If you can set up a double tap delay with a higher level on the second voice (to accent the swell a little more) even better.
