Wilson Freaker Wah power question

Sign in to disble this ad
I was reading that it operated on a positive ground and needed a dedicated power supply. Does this mean that it can't be powered by a pp2?

As a side question to anyone that owns one, is the freaker wah low-end friendly?

Pedal power will work fine, as the outputs are isolated. As for the sound...depends. It is a band pass that starts in sub-bass territory, and ends somewhere in the stratosphere. Application will determine how bass friendly you find it.

Yeah, it needs an isolated power supply (PP2 should be fine), so it won't work on a daisy chain like the 1spot with other pedals.

And yes, the freaker can have plenty of low-end, depending on the settings. At the lowest extent of its sweep, it is deep in the sub-bass.
