wireless, and gt6b and vtdeluxe.... order?

I'm looking at wireless systems, I'm not sure what to get.
Right now I plug into my Boss GT6b, that plugs into my vtbass deluxe, then that plugs into the instrument input on my amp.
I'm not sure if I want a stompbox style wireless receiver.
I'd rather have a receiver on top of my amp.
I don't want to run a cord all the way from the receiver to the gt6b then back again.
would it work well to run the gt6b and vt deluxe in the effects loop on the amp?

In general it is a bad idea to run stompboxes in an effects loop. But there are so many variables, it just might work. Just don't run the input gain too high when you first try it.

i was the same as you, but i decided to bite the bullet and get a rackmount line 6 g90 and just run two cables... it's really not that bad, i've been playing shows with it and i still think it's quicker than normal. just have your two cables in your pedalboard case/bag, put the pedal down on the stage, take cables out, plug in, walk back to amp and plug them in.

not really as hard as others make it out to be ^_^
