So yesterday I got my POG2 in the mail and I freaking love this thing. I was playing around on it with my J and getting some wicked sounds from it. So this morning I drop the registration card in the mail, come back and decide to switch to my P bass lyte, which has actives in it. I plug everything in, stomp on the POG2, and POP! The bypass light goes off but nothing else. I try re-engaging it but no matter how many times I stomp it the pedal doesn't engage.
I turned everything off, unplugged the POG2 and unscrewed the back to the horrible smell of burnt wire. I can still cycle through presets and everything except the bypass LED lights up, but I just can't get the pedal itself to turn on. I literally mailed in the registration card 2 hours before this happened and I really don't want a $325 brick. |

So all I can say is my experience with their customer service was VERY positive.
But I am sorry to hear that happened to you bro!
Kinda making me think twice now?

Just got off the phone with EHX and they said to go ahead and send it out, that it’s covered under warranty, and that mine is the first POG2 injury. (that’s gotta be worth SOMETHING, right?)

At least you don't have to go through the grief that I did with my OS... but at least it works now and I don't have an expensive brick.
Now I have to wonder if this is a freak occurrence, or something to be wary of. |
