PS: I tried a search and there is a "You Know You're Obsessed with Bass" thread....but no FX fun.

When you stay up all night just so you don't miss a new pedal getting delivered in the morning and so you can play it straight away

not that I've ever done that..........

When you own way more than one of a given type of effect, and are contemplating buying even more.

When you sell an effect, and then buy another one a week later.

When you have a monstrous board and spend hours re-arranging pedals to get one more to fit that you haven't even bought yet.

When you rewire your electricity and shield your house and replace all the florescent lights so that your fuzz doesn't pick up radio stations.

When you join a club based on a certain effect or builder.

When you buy a bass magazine only to see what new effects are coming out.

When you constantly scour ebay, craigslist, and forums with no particular pedal in mind to purchase.

When you cannot rest until you have tried/own every single last pedal of a given type ever made.

When you stay up late thinking of reasons that you are an effects junkie.

you spend time contemplating the consequences of using digital pedals or buffered bypass.

You've spent as much on patch cables as you did on your main instrument.

When you compare your pile of gear to a pile of gear like this ^ and there might be a slight advantage in your direction.
