Are you looking for an Overdrive Pedal?

I just picked one up, this little pedal is awesome. Extremely transparent, no low end loss at all. It can go from almost clean to a fuzzy (but warm) tone. The "Sag" knob is really cool as well. It changes the dynamics and the character of the distortion.

A word of caution though, in my opinion this pedal is not nearly as good through a solid state head as an all tube amp. Not sure how it would react to active pickups either. But if you are like me, all passive, all tube all the time I highly recommend you give it a try.

I will try and get some clips this weekend

I have to say that looks incredibly awesome. I like simple pedals and love sagged out sounds. If I wasn't playing through cranked tube amps already I'd definitely have to give this one a go.

It was their ring modulator that initially caught mine eye, perhaps I need to give this one a closer inspection as well.

Clips Added

Here are a couple of short clips of some of my favorite sounds so far.

P bass with flats - Barbershop - Radial JDI - PC.

The clean track has no effect.

Little Dirt has the gain at 12:30 and the Sag at 2 o'clock

Dirty Gain at 3 o'clock abd Sag at 11 o'clock

But as I said before the magic really starts to happen when this effect starts interacting with your tubes. This demo shows how transparent this thing is though. It really does not change your tone very much.

There's little difference (to my ears) in any of the 3 clips...the clean is just a little muddier.

I would like to hear a mic'd clip with a tube amp to give this a fair shake.
The youtube clips on g****r doe sound pretty nice though! Nothin' over the top. Just a low gain, dirty drive!

That is what I wanted to do...I just don't have access to any of my tube amps right now. I will try and record something the next time I am at out rehersal space.

Actually...I just remembered my Traynor is here.

I added another clip with various settings.

same P Bass => Traynor YBA-3 set flat => Traynor Big Bertha 8x10 => SM 57 => Tascam 4 Track

the first bit is with no effect.

Nothing over the top but it can get a little nastier if you turn up the volume but I am limited as to how loud I can play here.
