I thought maybe we could discuss one effect at a time?
What is your equipment chain?
What Chorus Pedal do you use?
When do you use it?
for example during which part of which tune?
At what settings?
etc.

The pedal is a Digitech Bass Multi Chorus.

I don't use any effects on the originals, or blusier stuff...well, I take that back...I've started using a VT Bass pedal on more of the original and bluesy stuff...to give it just a bit more grind...

The setting below give a nice chorus to the top end of my sound while keeping the low end a little cleaner and more clear.
I use a Boss CE-5 with the settings
E. Level: 3 o'clock
Rate: 2 o'clock
Depth: 1 o'clock
Bass: 8-9 o'clock
Treble: 3 o'clock

I use an analogue man standard chorus with the toggle deep mod. My setting varry between 40% and 60% on both depth and rate. The toggle set to the deep setting.

I also use a Bass Multichorus.

Let us know how it goes.
BTW, I'm using a analogman bi and a diamond halo, both very cool. |

EHX Stereo Electric Mistress - usually set to a relatively high depth, rate around 1:00. Warbly, used to give movement to verse or bridge lines here and there when the guitar is playing a sparse line or not playing at all.
Behringer CC-300 (clone of Boss DC-2) - buttons 2 and 3 selected. This is a pretty static, frozen chorus sound. Used to emulate 80's tones or give a little extra something to depressing/downbeat songs.

| | | | I have an EHX Stereo Electric Mistress. Pretty awesome though it is as much a flanger as a chorus. I'm actually usually not a chorus fan, but I kind of like the chorus on this.
My signal chain is Bass-->T-Rex Bassjuice-->EHX SEM-->Amp.
I mainly use it if I'm fingerpicking chords classical-guitar style, for upper registre stuff, and for toolish stuff.

| | | | Main chorus is an MXR. Use it for the finishing touch on originals that use clean chords. I own around 4 or 5 other chorus effects, but only use those for goofing around with.
