Zeibek Boutique Effects Pedals ~ Submarine Designer Bass Preamp Pedal with UltraBASS

The web site is still up, wish Os would get it going again. Who knows you might get lucky and find one.

There are other pedals out there but none with the Mojo of the Submarines which I still use for recording sometimes. My new tone toy is a [sfx] AY2.

I have the version with ultrabass switch right now. Once I find a Designer I'll put my standard Submarine on the market.

I have one. It pops loudly, hisses at high gain, the paint is rubbing off at the top, and the decals are completely gone. It sounds awesome!

I can honestly say that the boost switch (upper left) is almost unusable given how much boost it offers, which is a ridiculously large amount. Its still cool, but the aforementioned pop on a uber-boost switch is painful to hear my speaker cones go through. The upper right switch is a bass-boost, but again, it adds more bass than I ever need. So both switches remain in SUB position (which matches the regular Submarine tone).

I do use the 600hz and 1000hz switches occasionally. Otherwise, both are left in SUB position. I wish I had a yellow Submarine to go with it.

So, anytime you want to sell that Submarine (or Gemini Drive), you just let me know!*

*edit - anytime I have extra effects funds, that is... :P

I'll take it.
Christmas is coming up, and I want to surprise myself with something special.
