Zeibek pedals is now building pedals again...
i know there was a lot of disappointment around this forum when they stopped making all the pedals we own and love... i have recently (yesterday) been informed they are back up and running ready for the new year
i personally know i cannot wait to get my Submarine Designer in the mail.....
Travis G.
no way affiliated with Zeibek just a fan thought i would spread the great news

That said, in a landscape thick with competitors there is no reason anyone should suffer bad customer service. caveat emptor |

Regardless of whatever issues out there, the pedal is amazing and will NEVER leave my board. It is my only always on pedal and does great things to my tone. If you can get a sub designer, most definately do so.
I also have an early messdrive my gf got me off ebay a good while ago. Its a decent synthy sounding fuzz I use from time to time.
I can vouch for the quality of product. I however have not been involved in any bad dealing with the company so I cannot comment.

durrrrrrr. and then i read the title and what was in parenthesis.
i've heard nothing but great things about his pedals, but there are SO many amazing builders out there (IE's Taylor Livingston, Fuzzrocious's Ry(guy), SS/BS's Brian.......) that i don't understand why you would set yourself up to have problems with somebody that has an....... iffy at best...... track record.
good luck!

I love what I've heard from Zeibek's pedals and what I've heard about Zeibek's pedals, but what I've heard about Zeibek's customer service prevents me from dealing with them at all.

I love what the MessHybrid+ puts out but I don't think I can trust ordering from them until I hear enough positive reviews on their new level of customer service, and it would take a lot of positive reviews indeed.

I can only assume the name change was an attempt to help the company sort of start fresh.

I don't want to instigate another thread like that but he definitely needs to explain, if he is trying to start up business again, as it would seem, just how it is that this time will be any different. What is he doing differently? Somebody should reach out to him and ask how this year will make service any different from the past, through TB or otherwise.

We do not have bad customer service. Just ask to the people who we had dealt with over the years.
We have had a great customer service for years and then had to close the doors for about 6 months. There was no customer service, no sales and no pedal building for that period of time. As you can see, selling nothing was not a preferable arrangement for me. So it is not like I wanted not being able to provide customer service.
On top of that, I can't say this enough. Even though it doesn't make it better, only 4 customers were affected. I tried to meet all ends before I went down, but failed to do so. 2 of them was pedals that were shipped to me to get them fixed. 2 pedals was sold after that because Cori forgot to end the eBay auctions. When I came back, I fixed all the issues and send a freebie pedal to all of whom are adversely affected. Quote:

Somebody should reach out to him and ask how this year will make service any different from the past, through TB or otherwise. | I think that is a great question, but a better one would be what I am doing differently to elevate the customer service to what it was before or to top that. Because probably the most frequent thing you used to hear about ElectroniX is how good our customer service is.
One of the first things I am actively doing is outsourcing. By outsourcing the powdercoating, imprinting, drilling and PCB manufacturing; we are effectively cutting our work load to half. The remaining time will be all about customer service and research. I also keep the guy who designed the website on the payroll. so he can take care all things online. Those things cut the profits, but they are necessary steps to get this thing rolling again.
I rehired an ex-employee and one of the founding members of ElectroniX is helping me out. So I got more help than I ever did.
We do not build to order anymore. That cuts the delivery time by 3-4 days and you will be receiving a hand-made boutique pedal as if you are picking up something from MF.
So yes, I am constantly trying to improve the way we handle things. PS. The company name is still ElectroniX. Zeibek is the trademark we now sell the pedals under. visit http://zeibek.com/faq for details.
