Zeibek Submarine Designer pedal - experience? What an intriguing pedal... Looks like it could be pretty useful. Anybody have any experience with this model or the line in general? I see they're affiliated with Kreuzer Electronics whose preamp kind of reminds me of the late Kern IP-777 model. |
Oh geez dude, you've opened a can of worms. Please search on the words "zeibek", submarine", and "electronix", to find many many pages of posts--and most importantly, the fact that Zeibek is out of business. |

Sadly Zeibek Electronix and the family of Submarine pedals have gone away but occasionally some one decides to move one along. FWIW Ryan at Fuzzrocious pedals has done a revamp with variable drive so it can work as an overdrive. http://www.fuzzrociouspedals.com/bdpg.html |
I miss my Submarine tons and if I ever come across a designer Sub its MIIINE!!! |

I'd love to have a Submarine w/ UltraBass. Was in touch with Oz a few months ago. Was hopeful but that completely fell though. Just keep your eyes out in the Classifieds. I know I do. Missed one last year by nine minutes. |
fwiw the Sub D is a great preamp. The only effect I'd never sell, for sure (kinda irreplaceable). |
