Zeibek Submarine Designer pedal - experience?

What an intriguing pedal... Looks like it could be pretty useful. Anybody have any experience with this model or the line in general? I see they're affiliated with Kreuzer Electronics whose preamp kind of reminds me of the late Kern IP-777 model.

Oh geez dude, you've opened a can of worms. Please search on the words "zeibek", submarine", and "electronix", to find many many pages of posts--and most importantly, the fact that Zeibek is out of business.

Exar's business is on hold for now. I will still help previous customers.

Sadly Zeibek Electronix and the family of Submarine pedals have gone away but occasionally some one decides to move one along. FWIW Ryan at Fuzzrocious pedals has done a revamp with variable drive so it can work as an overdrive.

I'd love to have a Submarine w/ UltraBass. Was in touch with Oz a few months ago. Was hopeful but that completely fell though. Just keep your eyes out in the Classifieds. I know I do. Missed one last year by nine minutes.

fwiw the Sub D is a great preamp.
The only effect I'd never sell, for sure (kinda irreplaceable).
